Local development strategy

The development strategy is used as a governing document when our local LAG board prioritizes and selects applications.

Our local development strategy

The Leader method is a method for developing the area based on local conditions. In each Leader area, the private, non-profit, and public sectors jointly develop a local development strategy where they agree on which investments should be prioritized during each EU program period. The Swedish Board of Agriculture approves the development strategy for the area, and the strategy serves as a governing document for the processing of applications. Approved projects should contribute to fulfilling the purposes and goals described in the strategy.
